Does the thought of Daycare give you nightmares?
Are you a mother with a desire to stay home with your children? Does the thought of handing them over to some stranger keep you up at night? I know it does because it did for me too. That's why I decided to go into business for myself. A business that would allow me to be at home for my children.
At the time I decided to start my own home daycare business. I was pregnant with my second child and working your normal 8 - 5 job. Having to give up my first child and go to work was just about the hardest thing my heart ever had to bear. Seriously. No dramatics there. So when it came time to have the second child I went through the emotions all over again. It kept me up at night thinking of handing over my precious little baby to another person again. Not to mention I was going to pay close $2,000/mo. for the care of the both of them. I was not about to pay all that money to hand my babies over to strangers any longer. I decided to do something about it.
Now two years later, I am happy to say that I have my own home daycare business where I care for three children, earning $2,000/mo. rather than paying that much. Is it hard? Sure, at times it is. The reward of being with my kids everyday is worth it though. Knowing that I get to be there for them is totally worth it.
I have been told that I am a total clean freak. I like knowing that I am the one doing the sanitizing and the clean up. I know that I will do it right. I know that my kids (and the kids I care for) are getting the best possible care and attention from me. You have to really love children to do this type of work. You have to really enjoy it to do it well.
I always took pride in any job I had especially the job of Wife and Mom. Those two roles were more important to me than any other job title I ever held. My work used to get to me when I was employed at that 8-5 job. Everything was rush, rush, rush in the morning and I never got the time I do now with my kids. When I would get home from work I was so tired and grumpy that I couldn't give my child and husband the care they deserve. Sometimes my irritability would cause serious tension in our household even fights. I was so exhausted from job # 1 that I couldn't do job # 2, being a wife and mom. Taking baths and making dinner seemed like a chore, and that's not right! Do you feel this way sometimes? Do just wish you could dedicate your life to your children and family and still make money to help out? You can! This isn't just some gimmick, some promise of a stay at home career it's a all-in-one daycare school. You can really be home with your kids if that's what you desire. So is it what you desire? It really is hard work folks but not having to haul my kids out of the house at 6am in a rush is my reward along with countless others!

Why is it so fun for me?
What I love most about being home with my kids is that they are getting the best education, the most nutritious meals, the cleanest of conditions and of course my up most attention. I love kids. I love them to no end and I think that when you work with them and give them positive attention and influence they excel and thrive. I watch it everyday in my children and in the children I care for. Wouldn't you want to do the same with your kids? Educating these children is not hard it just takes patience and repetition. This is simple stuff folks! Numbers, colors, letters, animals, manners, etc... We as adults should have this stuff mastered. I myself took on simple sign language and let me tell you it's definitely something I truly think that all people with a daycare should consider teaching. Sign language completely eliminates confusion. I personally think it enhances children's minds in the long run. I can't even begin to tell you how impressed people still are when my son signs. It's really simple to learn and there are tons of children's videos you can purchase and watch with your kids. Seeing the light bulb go on in these little boys and girls just brings so much joy to my life everyday. My kids are receiving the best possible care and so are the kids I care for. Isn't that what every good Mom wants? It's so awesome to be able to care for my husband, and kids, and home and still bring in an income. Why not try? You have to really want it. It's not for everyone. Some parents enjoy not being around their kids all day and that's fine too. But if you are like me and you really can't stand the idea of giving your kids to other people than why not try?
